It’s official, we fell in love with Antigua during our stay at Villa Aloe in the brand new Gardens area of Jolly Harbour. First of all, the design and finishes at this villa are on par with the Ritz Carlton villas, if you have high standards like me you will love it. Everything down to the high quality towels was 5 star.
Jolly Harbour is really it’s own community, we didn’t know what to expect on our first Antigua visit but felt very safe, the people were awesome and we loved being so close to everything. You really don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. Several great restaurants, supermarket, marina, beach access and everything is accessible by golf cart. The north beach area was stunning and we were the only ones there, 5 minute ride on the golf cart. We did a full day boat charter with Barefoot Antigua and were picked up right at the marina here. We did quite a bit of exploring around the island and are so glad we chose Villa Aloe. Yes, the area is new and so there is construction happening but we were never disturbed by it at all.
The attention to detail in the design of this villa was really exceptional. Villa Aloe did it! Scott and his team at Third Shore Property Management were stellar too. Suki our gardener popped by and introduced himself. We truly felt catered to, which is rare with most villa rentals. Keisha, our welcome concierge met us to show us around as well as drop off some essentials and she was a breath of fresh air after a long travel day.! We had a few questions after she left about how things worked and Scott came by personally to help us out the next day too. We even ran out of cash for the golf cart final payment and the ATMs were empty, Scott to the rescue again!
We are a couple in our 50s, traveling with our two teen daughters and the layout of the house was perfect for us, especially the hall half bath while we were all getting ready. We typically travel to St John and the BVIS in villas but this was equally as amazing. Clearly we had a great time 😍 and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Scott, Keisha and Suki for everything!

A great deal of effort and thought went into this house – a wonderful place to stay, great feel and fantastically designed. Scott is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble. One of the best places I have ever stayed in and highly recommended.
